SETH FORD-YOUNG – UPRIGHT BASS
Seth Ford-Young

Now based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Seth was raised near Washington D.C. by his yoga instructor mother and his Aikido instructor father. Seth began his music career while still in high school, performing at clubs around D.C. and the mid-Atlantic states. In 1993 Seth moved to California and committed himself to the study of Jazz and Classical bass performance, composition and vocal technique. Now Seth is a busy professional performing locally and touring internationally with numerous ensembles. You may have seen Seth live, or heard him on recordings with Tom Waits, Ralph Carney, Eric McFadden, The Hot Club of San Francisco, Beats Antique, Andy Dick, John Schott , Ben Goldberg , Smith, Gail, and Sasha Dobson, Mia and Jonah, and Myles Boisen's Past-Present-Future.

MYLES BOISEN – GUITAR
Myles Boisen is a guitarist, composer, improvisor, and record producer/engineer, best known around the Bay Area for his twin-necked twanging in The Splatter Trio, as well as musical exploits with Mark Growden, Vermillion Lies, and The Club Foot Orchestra. Over the past two decades Myles has performed or recorded with Tom Waits, John Zorn, Nina Hagen, Rova Saxophone Quartet, Carla Kihlstedt, Eugene Chadbourne, Ralph Carney, and his own "Past-Present-Future" ensemble. Myles' discography numbers over 50 compact disc recordings, including ten CD's with The Splatter Trio, and musical work for MTV, film director David Lynch, and CBS, as well as dozens of production and mastering credits on recordings by other artists from 1979 to the present.

CHRIS GRADY – TRUMPET

Chris has been teaching, performing and recording music in the San Francisco Bay area for more than 20 years. Chris has studied at San Francisco State University and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. He has performed and recorded with many bay area groups and artists including The Beth Custer Ensemble, The Residents, Vermillion Lies, Mark Growden, Tom Waits, Jewel, The Grassy Knoll, R&B Free Jazz Gospel Supreme 80, and the Clubfoot Orchestra among many others.

JENYA CHERNOFF – PERCUSSION

Jeyna Chernoff - Percussion

Rocker, graphic designer and communist baker, Jenya Chernoff was raised by wolves in the seventies has been sharpening her claws on the massive trunks of Oakland's creative music scene since the mid-nineties. She has played and recorded with Mumble & Peg, Giant Ant Farm, Mark Growden's Electric Pinata, Dreamland, the San Francisco Taiko Dojo and Faun Fables. Her current Projects include the multi-instrumentalist duo Fuzzy Cousins, mega rock band Long Thaw and being a co-owner of a cooperative bakery.

ALEX KELLY - CELLO

Alex Kelly is a San Francisco based cellist, composer, teacher, and conductor. After earning three bachelors degrees and two masters degrees in music, Alex completed a doctorate in cello performance with a secondary area in composition from the University of Oregon. he has performed with and composed music for a variety of orchestras, chamber orchestras, new music ensembles, string quartets, cello quartets, jazz combos, rock bands Klezmer/Balkan bands, dance companies and circus troupes throughout the United States and Canada for the past twenty years.

Alex Kelly is a San Francisco based cellist, composer, teacher, and conductor.
