I’m happy to announce that our show at the Climate on March 4 is sold out. And it is completely sold out. Meaning that even if we’ve been good friends for 20+ years I cannot get you in. I got phone calls, emails and text messages from over a dozen people yesterday asking if I could help them out. I can’t. Sorry.

We will be moving into larger rooms now. I’m looking for a theater that seats 150-200. I’m also going to look into playing at Yoshi’s. Its a great listening room. I’ll also look into the Swedish American Hall above Cafe duNord.

San Francisco, Ca. – Sultry Mark Growden brings his Quartet to the San
Francisco Center for Sex & Culture. Join Mark for an evening of dark sexy
soulful music that will leave you breathless. With the dashing Seth
Ford-Young on Upright Bass, the talented Myles Boisen on Guitar and
Lap-Steel, and Chris Grady blowing you away on Trumpet. It’s an evening
you won’t soon forget.

The Mark Growden Quartet will be playing every Thursday night at the
Center for Sex & Culture for the month of January. Catch them January 8,
15, 22, and 29 2009 8pm.

And Join Mark Growden for a 4 week singing workshop on Tuesday’s in
January from 7pm-9pm. This workshop will emphasize the release of fear,
the expansion of the heart and the liberation that singing brings. No
prior musical or singing experience required.

The workshop will be held on Tuesdays in January 6, 13, 20, and 27 from
7pm-9pm at the Center for Sex & Culture. To find out more about the class
