We’re still at it.
So far we’ve mixed the two songs in which I play banjo: “Faith in my Pocket” and “Everybody Holds a Piece of the Sun”.
Now we’re moving on to the pieces in which I play baritone sax. All the other musicians play the same instruments throughout the album except Chris Grady, who switches between B flat trumpet, flugelhorn, and C cornet.
Oz is using some old school techniques. He has set up the big room as an echo-chamber and an reel to reel in the isolation booth for tape-delay. Who needs rack-mount effects?
Now we’re mixing “Been in the Storm so Long”.
